Malaria, a plague for Africa

A child dies
from malaria
every 2 minutes

270 million people
in Africa live
without any protection

Mosquitoes become
more resistant
to insecticides
Our mission : save 100,000 lives
We work at saving 100,000 lives from malaria by end 2018 by putting a mosquito-repellent soap in the hands of the most vulnerable populations in Africa.
To save 100,000 lives, we work on a soap
- cutting by two the risk of malaria contamination
- distributed progressively to 40% of the population
of the 6 most affected African countries.
Our mosquito-repellent soap
To fight malaria, we are developing a soap able to repel mosquitoes up to 6 hours after use.
We are convinced that mosquito-repellent soap will become a new and efficient prevention tool, besides insecticide-treated mosquito nets and indoor residual spraying.
Get protected from malaria everyday

Protecting without changing habits
In hot areas soap is often used in the evening, when mosquitoes start biting.A daily use
Commonly used for body, clothes and house cleaning, soap is one of the few products to be in 95% of African households.

Attacking the problem at its source
Soapy water will reduce the development of mosquito larvae in stagnant waters.Less larva
Mosquito larvae grow in stagnant waters. The larvicide property of our soap will reduce the development of these larvae.

Quickly reaching the most vulnerable populations
Soap distribution network let us reach the most remote areas in Africa.A massively distributed product
Distributing soap in 5 countries allows to reach 50% of the population at risk. Our progress
First tests being conclusive we are starting more comprehensive tests in the labs of National Research Center against Malaria (CNRFP) in Ouagadougou (Burkina Faso).
